Saving Lives, One Child at a Time

I am going to be real for a minute. I want to share something that is really hard.

In my fundraising for Nurturing Nations I am always being told that I need to keep things happy because nobody wants to face the horror stories. Well, sometimes we need to face the horrific things that are happening to children. I want to tell you about a beautiful girl named Laurentta. (See her in the video below)

Laurentta and a friend were kidnapped to be sold for their body parts. Yes you read it right, for their body parts. For horrific rituals. Laurentta was able to escape, but not her friend. Children like Laurentta are praying for you to help them. We like to sit in our comfortable homes and we don't want to think about the horrors that children are suffering. I have had to face what is happening to these children. I have nightmares at night because of the children that are being harmed. Children that I could rescue, but I can't do it alone. I need YOU to step up and help!

We need to finish building Nurturing Nations safe house so we have a safe place to bring children that have been rescued. You can be an answer to a child's desperate plea for help. Maybe it will be at some sacrifice to you, but isn't that better than a child being sacrificed for some evil ritual?
